This four day creative camp will give students an outline of two significant art movements from the early to mid 1900s: Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism. Students will be given a brief history lesson into each movement analyzing the current political as well as social environment in which these artists expressed themselves. Students will then create a piece of work in either a drawing or painting medium that reflects upon what they learned.
Beginners are welcome!
