Want to learn the basics of acrylic painting? This is the course for you! During these six-weeks, students will learn the fundamental tools needed to build a strong acrylic painting practice. From material exploration and brush techniques to studies in value and colour theory—including colour mixing, harmony, and contrast—students will develop a deeper understanding of how to make a painting come to life. Through guided exercises, self-directed study, and hands-on practice, students will gain the confidence and skills to navigate the medium with creativity and control. 
 
If you are a returning painting student, you are welcome to begin your self-directed study in oil or acrylic at your own leisure!
