Drawing Perspective and Building Models
August 24th to 28th
Age groups 7 – 9 & 10 – 12

all materials included

 

Artists will develop their creative initiative based on their personal interests. They will explore their community and their world through the lens of an artist, learning the principles of art while also building their scientific understanding of their physical world like an engineer.

 

Lesson Examples:
– Painting and Observations (Acrylic and Mixed Media)

– Portfolio Building for Teens (Preparing for Competitive Institutions)
– Sculpture (Air-dry clays and Cardboard, Papier-Mache, Recycled Materials)
– Art Skills (Drawing, Colours, Perspective, Graphics, and Art Principles)
– Developing Creative Initiative (Learn how to start your own projects)

 

Lessons limited to 6 students per instructor or 10 students total
Age groups are separated after 5 or more students are enrolled and assigned their own instructor

 

8:30 – 9:00 am: Student Drop off
9:00 – 9:30 am: Drawing warm-up
9:30 – 11:30 am: Morning Activity
11:30 – 12:00 pm: Lunch break (Pack a healthy peanut-free lunch; you may also include a snack to have during activities)
12:00 – 1:00 pm: Park visit
1:00 – 3:00 pm: Afternoon Activity
3:00 – 3:30 pm: Free create & Cleanup
3:30 – 4:00 pm: Student Pick up
